自己と他の境が溶け出すような感覚。 自分の内部が外へと沸き上がっていくような感覚。
目に見えている世界、それに重なって存在する「どこまでも均質な世界」へと解放されていく感覚。
そういったものを根底に制作を続けています。
Sense to which boundary of self and another begins to melt.
Sense to which my inside boils up to the outside.
Sense opened to the homogeneous world infinitely.
They are sources of my production.

一体化することを図る中で自己の開放を試みました。

屋内での作業でも、布や磨りガラス、鉄などの持つ透明感を素材として、
それらの感覚を空間に再現することを試みてきました。
表現するというよりは、空間の中の自分を意識するための装置を作る作業という方が近いかもしれません。

２０００年の個展からは、身体感覚を伴う体験型の要素を加えたものになっています。
体験者が自身を意識する場を作り、その中で故意にその意識を消失させるような状況を創り出します。
また、物質の非物質化（ストロボライトの点滅によりコマ送りの視界を作り、
自身や周囲の現実感を喪失させる。等）、
あるいはその逆（頭の中のイメージを物質であるかのように取り扱い、容器に詰め込み受け渡しする。等）によってそれらの境界を曖昧なものにすることを試みています。

その実感を持ってどのように生きていくのかを見つめていきたいと考えています。
